Our Background
Since 1935, our Hunter Douglas certified professionals at The Shade Shop have worked to provide superior service in sales and design to the homeowners of Western Michigan. Let us put our years of experience to work for you. We have developed a two-step process that showcases our attention to detail and provides spectacular results in creating gorgeous and functional window treatments that meet the needs of our clients and their spaces.
The Process
Our two-step window covering design consultation process begins in our Grand Rapids, Michigan showroom, located at 422 Leonard Street NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504. Our showroom offers a peek at the latest styles, operating systems, and fabric and hardware selections. This first in-store consultation is a great jumping off point for our clients to get inspired by the selection of possibilities and helps to get a feel of how fine window treatments from Hunter Douglas look in an interior space.
The second part of our two-step process is an in-home meeting. Here, members of our professional team take precise measurements of the space and helps clients with their decision-making process by visualizing the Hunter Douglas blinds, shades, shutters, and drapery that will work best for their individual needs.
