Adding Motorization to Windows
Adding motorization to your window treatments can make your life easier in so many ways. No more individually adjusting each shade before you leave the house. No more wrestling with cords to adjust heavy sets of blinds. Many motorization systems on the market are very basic, though. They’re limited to just a few styles per brand and in many instances, each style has its own method of motorization. This means you need multiple types of remotes to control the window coverings for your house. Reason 1: More Window Treatments
While many motorization systems are only available on a couple of styles, PowerView® Automation is an option on the vast majority of Hunter Douglas window fashions. Roller Shades, Roman Shades, Honeycomb Shades–you name it, and Hunter Douglas can automate it! Best of all, PowerView® is available on several types of window treatments that no other company supports, including drapery and shutters. The Palm Beach™ Polysatin™ Shutters are the only motorized shutters on the market, and their innovative technology even allows you to still adjust the louvers by hand without damaging the motors. As a bonus, since the same PowerView® system works on many different styles of window treatments, you can control your window shades, blinds, curtains, and shutters all from a single source.

Most motorization systems come with only one type of power supply, whether rechargeable or hardwired.
